Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń recognizes the extremely important role of students and doctoral students in shaping the future of Polish science. At the same time, we note that in recent years, the issue of developing a scientific support system for these groups of the academic community has not received sufficient attention. Therefore, we have decided to conduct research on the current state of affairs and the expectations of students and doctoral students in terms of support for scientific development. Our goal is to develop recommendations for actions that will contribute to the development of the current system.

As part of our activities, we have planned a number of initiatives, including quantitative and qualitative research and the organization of a conference at which the results of this research will be presented.

We invite you to join us in launching a nationwide debate on the need for systemic action in the area of supporting students and doctoral students in their scientific development.
